The Enneagram is an ancient and sacred nine-pointed symbol that describes nine different, yet interrelated, personality types or styles. “Ennea” is Greek for nine, and “gram” means a drawing, written character or letter. Study and practice of this profound and powerful method of transformation helps one to identify and move beyond old and unconscious habits of body, heart and mind, increase compassion for self and others, and effectively integrate psychological and spiritual life. Carl’s greatest joy is watching his students use knowledge of the nine Types to change and grow. Carl began teaching the Enneagram in 1998, first in Europe and Asia, and then later in the U.S., and has become a leading Enneagram educator and mentor. He has presented the Enneagram online, and in universities, adult education programs, non-profits, churches and spiritual centers.
